provides the perfect complement to playing games. Dedicated game hosts are onsite to prepare specific games or make suggestions to accommodate your group. Day 3 The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) takes visitors on a journey through the evolution, celebration and future of human rights. It's incredible architecture mimics the museum's content, climbing from darkness to light while presenting a range of historical and contemporary world events that expose what happens when rights are denied. Running between one and two hours, each of its curriculum-based programs allows students to explore and discuss human rights issues through hands-on learning and activities. The Forks, Winnipeg's most-visited tourist attraction, marks an area saturated in Indigenous history. Artifacts have been found onsite dating back 6,000 years, as this meeting point of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers has always been a place for gathering. In its bustling market, students can walk, pick up local souvenirs to take home and grab a bite to eat from the enticing food kiosks. The Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq is an important stop for anyone looking to learn about Indigenous art. It is home to the world's largest public collection of contemporary Inuit art, with over 14,000 works. Qaumajuq, which opened in March 2021 to rave reviews from the likes of The New York Times and Smithsonian Magazine, features a stunning glass vault three stories high filled with thousands of Inuit carvings. WAG- Qaumajuq supports K-12 teachers and students with interactive, curriculum-based virtual and in-person tours and workshops. After a few busy days in Winnipeg, it's time for some fun! In the evening, head to Activate Games. This live-action, 8-bit inspired game centre combines technology, athleticism and problem solving—pitting teams against one another while scoring points in game rooms that have multiple levels.
