With over 4,000 employees in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, Palliser has announced ambitious expansion plans in Winnipeg, where the family-owned company was founded and operates its head office. "We've been expanding capacity aggressively," said Peter Tielmann, Palliser's President & CEO. "We're hiring between 300 - 400 people in 2022 and adding one more factory in Winnipeg." This is in addition to Palliser's workforce in the city that already includes "key talent," according to Tielmann, such as innovation and product development, marketing, finance, manufacturing and factory work. "We've developed our relationships with universities and the local community to really create access to the top talent," said Tielmann. "We hire people straight out of school. Our experience has been that we get the best graduates. It's almost that we create a secret sauce in Winnipeg with the combination of resources available here compared to our competition (elsewhere).
