Fire Fighters Museum
of Winnipeg

Built in 1903, this museum is among the oldest fire
stations in Canada. It features stained glass windows,
ornate tin ceilings, displays of hand and horse-drawn
hose wagons, steam and early motorized fire apparatus,
artifacts, photographs and records dating back to
the 1880s.

The Forks National Historic Site

This nine-acre park, operated by Parks Canada, features
interpretive exhibits, walking trails, an Amphitheatre, Fort
Parka playground and splash pad for children ages 2 to
12, and fun activities all summer. Come imagine, explore
and enjoy!

Galerie Buhler Gallery

Dedicated to enhancing the role of the arts in health, the
gallery is located in St. Boniface Hospital and provides
an oasis of contemplation and vision. The Galerie Buhler
Gallery displays three to four exhibitions per year to
engage hospital patients, staff and visitors in high-quality
visual arts programming.

Graffiti Gallery

Graffiti Gallery is a not-for-profit community youth art
organization that hosts community urban art exhibits
by young local, Canadian and international artists. More
than 700 emerging artists have performed or shown their
work since it opened in 1998. The satellite gallery located
at The Forks Skate Plaza features an additional six panels
of art.

Grant's Old Mill

See a working replica of Cuthbert Grant's original
water-powered mill built in 1829. During summer, see
how wheat is ground into flour. The mill celebrates Grant
and the Métis culture the second Saturday in July with a
barbecue and activities, as well as a pioneer picnic on the
third Saturday in August.
Open late May to the end of August, Wednesday to
Sunday.
