Gardens at The Leaf The Gardens at The Leaf, located in the southeast corner of Assiniboine Park, are comprised of six uniquely themed spaces: the Indigenous People's Garden, Kitchen Garden, Johnston Family Seasonal Garden, Sensory Garden, Performance Garden and The Grove. These spectacular spaces are free to explore and change with each season, offering a new experience each time you visit. Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar Located inside The Leaf, Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar will entice you with flavourful creations that incorporate fresh, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients from their gardens. Small plates encourage the sharing and sampling of dishes that celebrate biodiversity and multiculturalism. The extensive cocktail list features inventive, botanical cocktails made with herbs grown in- house, seasonal fruits and house-made syrups. Inspired by the nature that surrounds us all, Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar is sure to surprise and delight your senses. The Leaf Escape to a vibrant, living paradise at The Leaf. This awe- inspiring, architectural marvel is home to four distinct worlds. The Hartley and Heather Richardson Tropical Biome houses the highest indoor waterfall in Canada, as well as colourful koi and a wide variety of exotic plants. The Mediterranean Biome features a memorable mosaic of colour, texture and fragrance. Make friends with beautiful butterflies in the Shirley Richardson Butterfly Garden. The Babs Asper Display House celebrates the art of horticulture with a rotating schedule of dynamic displays that change throughout the year. Leo Mol Sculpture Garden The Leo Mol Sculpture Garden showcases a magnificent collection of bronze sculptures by internationally acclaimed Ukrainian-Canadian artist Dr. Leo Mol that is open to the public to visit free of charge. The Leo Mol Gallery houses paintings, ceramics and other artwork, while the Schoolhouse Studio offers insight into Mol's sculpting method and materials. Lyric Theatre The Lyric Theatre carries on the long tradition of outdoor entertainment at the park. The large Lyric stage hosts the Summer Entertainment Series with a diverse line-up of free concerts, wellness classes and the highly popular Movies in the Park. Park Café Located in the Qualico Family Centre and surrounded by nature, the Park Café restaurant serves all-day breakfast favourites and a variety of lunch options, including sandwiches, burgers and salads. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful Riley Family Duck Pond, which is transformed into an outdoor skating rink in winter with a heated shelter nearby. Pavilion The historic Pavilion is home to the largest collections of works by renowned Manitoba artists Ivan Eyre, Walter J. Phillips, and Clarence Tillenius. Through WAG@ThePark, a partnership with the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Park visitors enjoy free entry to expertly curated exhibitions, drawn largely from the Park's collection, as well as from the WAG's vast holdings.
