The Forks Market The Forks Market was the first building to open at The Forks in 1989. Today, it is home to a vibrant food hall, lined with local shops and cuisine, which features a dynamic selection of Manitoba-made products. On the top floor of The Market, you can enjoy views of the rivers and the city skyline from the six-storey lookout tower. The Common, located in the centre aisle of the building, is The Market's beer and wine bar. Their menu includes 20 rotating taps of local and imported beer and 20 taps of wine and non-alcoholic beverages, curated by top cicerones and wine experts from across the country. The Forks Market Plaza The Forks Market Plaza features a licensed patio, with endless views of the river. Enjoy The Common's outdoor bar in the summer months under the large canopy or in the shaded seating areas. In winter, The Plaza is home to a skating rink, under the canopy, twinkling lights and special weekend programming are offered throughout the season.
