home built for Sir Hugh John Macdonald and visiting the
heritage garden. The Queen Anne Revival style home has
been lavishly restored to reflect the late Victorian era.

Exchange District National Historic
Site

Established in the early 20th century, Winnipeg's original
centre of commerce features North America's largest
and best-preserved collection of heritage buildings. The
architecture provides a stunning backdrop for Winnipeg's

hosts a variety of events, festivals and outdoor concerts
year-round, even becoming a gorgeous skating rink

Fire Fighters Museum of Winnipeg

Built in 1903, and among the oldest fire
stations in Canada, this museum features
stained glass windows; ornate tin ceilings;
displays of hand and horse-drawn hose
wagons; steam and early motorized fire
apparatus; artifacts; photographs and
records dating back to the 1880s.

The Forks National Historic Site

This nine-acre park, operated by Parks Canada, features
interpretive exhibits, walking trails, an amphitheatre, Fort
Parka playground and splash pad for children, with fun

Galerie Buhler Gallery

Dedicated to enhancing the role of the arts in health, the
gallery is located in St. Boniface Hospital and provides
an oasis of contemplation and vision. The Galerie Buhler
Gallery displays three to four exhibitions per year to
engage hospital patients, staff and visitors in high-quality,
visual arts programming.
