John Macdonald and visiting the heritage
garden. The Queen Anne Revival-style
home has been lavishly restored to reflect
the late-Victorian era. The Visitors' Centre

FIRE FIGHTERS MUSEUM OF

Built in 1903 and among the oldest fire
stations in Canada, this museum features
stained glass windows, ornate tin ceilings;
displays of hand and horse-drawn, steam
and early-motorized fire apparatus;
artifacts; photographs; and records dating
back to the 1880s.
