When planning your itinerary to Winnipeg, a visit to the award-winning Manitoba Museum, located in downtown Winnipeg is a "must-see" for your tour. Journey through Manitoba on a guided tour of the Museum Galleries, and discover the human and natural history of the province. For more in-depth learning, a variety of hands-on programs are available for your groups. In the Planetarium, enjoy 3D astronomy presentations, using state of the art technology, including live presentations on the Aurora Borealis and Arctic Ice, along with time allotted after the show for questions and discussion. NEW permanent exhibit in the Science Gallery Brickyard: Build with LEGO Bricks Over 100,000 LEGO bricks are available for creative minds to use at the Free Build tables, where you can let your imagination run wild. You can also choose one of several challenge activities to test your LEGO, or take the ultimate challenge: design and build a lunar base, complete with all of the components astronauts need to live and work on another world! New exhibit in the Science Gallery NASA Moon Rock We've got a real moon rock! NASA has loaned us a rock collected during the Apollo 17 mission to the Moon. Come and learn what it tells us about the moon's origins, and hear the harrowing tale of how it journeyed from the Earth to the Moon, and then back again! In the Science Gallery, train like an astronaut, design and race your own car, explore life in a self-sustaining aquarium, create cool animations, and so much more.
