Thematic guided class tours, like When Rights are Denied, will challenge students to witness a range of historical and contemporary world events as examples of what can happen when human rights are refuted. New exhibits for Canada's 150th anniversary include student programming on Indian Residential Schools and reconciliation, another about rights and Indigenous Peoples, and a third about struggles for gender equality. WINNIPEG SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA Get into the composition by going behind the scenes of one of Canada's most celebrated orchestras. Destination WSO gives a class the best seat in the house for the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra by bringing them in for a dress rehearsal where students can witness the inner workings of a performance — even allowing them to play along and learn from the WSO's professional musicians.
