Page 5 E XECUTIV E SUMMARY SUMMARY OF PROPOSALS Tourism Winnipeg is pleased to present the following components specified in the proposal that meets and exceeds the expectations for the 2021 International Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy. › Financial Incentives The City of Winnipeg's Special Event Tourism Fund (SETF) has approved a total of up to $32,248* in financial support to The International Council for Near Infrared Spectroscopy to be awarded to host the 2021 International Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy to offset meeting and convention costs in Winnipeg. See page 6 for details. *Based on the total number of delegates, room nights and estimated expenses provided by the organization. If the numbers for the conference are less than projected, the financial support will be pro-rated.
