Page 14 CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION number of years to secure the University of Manitoba as well as the Stadium facility (where the finish line has been up until 2016) – we expect a seamless transition to continue working with this team. Site Security includes but is not limited to: 1. All volunteers are issued volunteer shirts (either general volunteer or technical team special lead shirts) as well as credentials that are displayed around their neck at all times. Credentials appear in two formats: o Noted by job position (finish line, iTeam, Recovery team, etc.) including the areas that are accessible for that job o Noted by team member – individuals holding all access passes have their name and photo on the tag, allowing them to access all areas of the race site 2. All major streets into the University of Manitoba Fort Garry campus are controlled by Winnipeg Police Services and Impact Security team members. The following vehicles only are permitted access to the site during closures: o Authorized vehicles displaying Manitoba Marathon issued permit passes o Winnipeg Transit buses o Park and Ride service buses o Police and emergency vehicles 3. All security members and volunteers are provided with a site map indicating security procedures, important times/events for vehicles requiring access and emergency protocol information as indicated in Appendix C 4. Medical area (located in lower level of IGF) will have both security personnel located in the area and at all entry points as well as volunteer Medical Runners who will escort all participants in need of medical services through the access corridors directly to the medical triage area 5. Finish line and full marathon recovery areas (located on IGF field level) will have Impact Security, Winnipeg Blue Bomber Volunteer Fan Ambassador volunteers as well as designated Manitoba Marathon security volunteers to ensure that o the number of participants on field level is limited to a reasonable and controlled number o Only full marathon participants are allowed access to the full marathon recovery area o adequate medical staff is present in the event that a participant is in need of assistance o top finishers are escorted and attended to before the awards ceremony takes place 6. Participant recovery area will be strictly secured to keep access to the area exclusive to runners; Volunteer security staff will secure all points of entry 7. Upper level IGF corporate suites and VIP suite will be secured by Impact Security team and access can only be gained with proper credentials for volunteers or wristbands for participants
