Page 12 CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION Registration All registrations for the Manitoba Marathon (herein referred to as HOC) are completed through Race Roster and are accessible through a link on our website. Technical Meeting Technical meetings can be accommodated in meeting space at the Investors Group Field (IGF) or at the host hotel, depending on group size required and time of meeting. Technical Equipment HOC will work in conjunction with IGF to provide all necessary technical equipment. Technical Officials HOC will work in conjunction with the National Organizing Committee (herein referred to as NOC) to nominate technical officials as required, likely from our pool of longstanding technical committee members (our volunteer base consist of approximately 1,500 people annually). VIP Hospitality HOC will provide suitable VIP hospitality areas. The second level of IGF includes corporate event box suites, which can be utilized for the event. This area is completely wheelchair accessible and barrier- free. Prize Money HOC will agree to provide prize money as indicated in the AC outline for either the 10K or the Half Marathon as awarded. Rights Fee HOC will be responsible for providing to Athletics Canada a rights fee to host either the 10K or Half Marathon Championship as awarded. Insurance HOC continues to provide insurance coverage for all participants annually. If awarded a road championship event, Athletics Canada would be included as a party named in the coverage. Award Ceremonies and Medals Award Ceremonies are currently completed in the winner's circle near the finish line. HOC currently provides athlete shadows and awarding volunteers for this function and would continue to do so. M EDICAL/DOPING Doping Control HOC would utilize lower level facilities at the IGF for all medical functions, including doping control prior to the race. HOC is willing to assist the CCES in preparing for and carrying out of the doping control procedures with volunteer staffing, materials and sampling.
