Mandela: Struggle for Freedom
Opening Summer 2018 at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights
How far will a human being go to fight for freedom? Jailed for 27
years, Nelson Mandela's unbreakable will gave hope to people
suffering from racial segregation everywhere. The year 2018 marks
100 years since Mandela's birth. Through a rich sensory experience
of soundscape, digital media and artifacts, this new exhibition
explores an earthshaking fight for justice and human dignity in
South Africa and its relevance to issues of today.

Pocca Poca Spa
Winnipeg's newest spa focuses on Ganban-yoku, which is a popular
form of thermal relaxation therapy in Japan. It is one of a handful
of spas in Canada offering this treatment. Ganban-yoku uses rare
stones found only in certain areas of the world, which release
therapeutic warmth once they are heated. The stones are embedded
in comfortable smooth slab beds. Silky sweat is perspired during the
session and does not have stickiness or smell. This silky sweat acts
as a natural lotion leaving skin smooth, radiant and glowing.
