8 Located downtown, Manitoba Hydro Place was the first large office tower in Canada to receive the LEED Platinum certification from the Canada Green Building Council. Green With Envy Winnipeg's Living Prairie Museum is one of the few remaining unplowed native tall grass reserves in North America; it is home to over 160 species of prairie plants and wildlife. The Leo Mol Sculpture Garden is one of the few sculpture gardens in the world featuring the work of a single artist. Ukrainian sculptor Leo Mol—who resided in Winnipeg— is internationally acclaimed, and you can find his works in numerous countries, including the museums of the Vatican. The Forks uses the leftover vegetable oil from its deep-fryers at its on-site restaurants and food kiosks to power its site truck, reefer, ice resurfacer and three gators as part of their Target Zero program. 8
