investment campaign. One of the highlights was a keynote
address by Georgina Black, Managing Partner, Government
and Public Services at Deloitte, who shared key insights from
the company's Catalyst report.
Investor Portal launch
We successfully launched the new YES! Winnipeg Investor
Portal, which provides each investor with an impact statement
illustrating return on their investment in YW, as well as exclusive
resources such as economic insights, details on our active
business opportunities and marketing collateral for Winnipeg.
Real Impact campaign 2025
In preparation for the next five-year funding campaign, we
selected our Real Impact campaign co-chairs, Brad Peacock,
President & Chief Investment Officer at Megill-Stephenson and
Andrew Stibbard, Regional Managing Partner at MNP.
Investor Council
Our 18-member Investor Council represents a cross-section
of YW investors who are a valuable source of feedback and
guidance for our team. The purpose of the council is to gather
feedback or engage investors who can assist in our strategy
for business attraction, retention and expansion.
In 2020, the council focused on specific discussion themes,
advised on COVID-19 responses, anticipated opportunities
and supported plans around the launch of the Real Impact
campaign.
