RELAXATION UNDER A BLUE
(OR STARRY) SKY
Thermëa by Nordik Spa-Nature, Winnipeg's open-air oasis, features steamy Nordic
baths, Scandinavian saunas, luxurious steam rooms, and countless other amenities
with all signs pointing to serenity.
Embark on the hot-cold-hot rejuvenating cycle and you'll soon find yourself to be
the embodiment of total relaxation. Take lunch or dinner (where wearing your robe
is mandatory) in their locally sourced, holistic restaurant – which features an outdoor
dining area and bar – or head upstairs for a massage or body treatment in this forest-
surrounded setting located just minutes from downtown. During summer months, the
forest beach – with its massive bean bag chairs and hammocks – is simply sublime.
Group rates and special packages are available.

WINNIPEG,
PARK LIFE
Assiniboine Park is one of Canada's crowning achievements when it comes to
public parks. This massive, 1,100 acre area features a Formal Garden, English
Garden, and the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden.
Thematic guided group tours of these verdant areas showcase the beautiful
annuals, perennials, fountains and public works of art that make Assiniboine Park
a nature lovers dream. A photography tour is also available (cameras included),
where groups can learn basic techniques that will help them take stunning
outdoor photographs, while your group can also embark on the Winnie Heritage
Tour, which celebrates Winnipeg's connection to the world's most famous bear.
New for 2020 inside the park will be Canada's Diversity Gardens, a $75 million
indoor/outdoor horticultural attraction that recreates biomes from around the
world to celebrate relationships that exist between people and plants.
